I recommend this novel, especially for older teens, parents, and those who enjoy reading about this exciting, controversial period in American history. I would recommend this book to folks interested in how little people can see big opportunities and change big picture social systems (potentially even doing well for themselves along the way), or to people who want to look back from their deathbed and say they did more good than bad during their stay.
